Dr. Brauman studied medicine at the Sydney University Medical School, Sydney, Australia, graduating with Honors at the top 10% of his class. For the duration of his medical studies, he was also a recipient of the Commonwealth Scholarship.
After completion of his studies, Dr. Brauman specialized in General & Vascular surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. He became Board Certified in General Surgery in 1980. Dr. Brauman then further specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the combined Montefiore-Albert Einstein affiliated hospitals, New York. In 1983 he became Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Brauman’s desire to master the art and science of surgery led him to Chicago, Illinois where he completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at the prestigious Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s MedicalCenter. He then co-authored a chapter in a Textbook of Microsurgery published in 1987. In October, 1985 Dr. Brauman was conferred the highest degree in surgery when he became a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons; F.A.C.S. Dr. Brauman began his Plastic Surgery practice in New York City and Westchester County in 1982. In 1985 he left his Park Avenue office to devote himself exclusively to his Westchester practice. The practice is dedicated exclusively to Cosmetic Plastic Surgery and it serves New York, Connecticut and New Jersey
as well as the entire east coast of the United States. Dr. Brauman is a Member Surgeon of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) which means you can be assured your doctor:
